Here are some options: FREE Mathcad 8 Explorer Math Soft had a FREE read-only version of Mathcad. It can be used to read the Mathcad Transmission Line Computer Model worksheets supplied here (MathSoft has pulled the official version, but copies are elsewhere on the net -- i will try to keep the link above pointed at an available version). The reader that alerted us to this, Krisztian Kaldi says: "About the Mathcad version I use: it is the Mathcad Explorer edition of the 8.0 version, and it is freely downloadable. Only problem is that it can read versions up to 8.0, so no 2000 compatibility. You can change input values, I'm not sure about equations, but you can not save the edited values in any form. I think you should mention it on your great TL page." There are Version 8 Worksheets for use with this version of MathCad David Dlugos uses a Full copy of MathCad 7 purchased for $40 on eBay. Martin supplied a set of Version 6 Worksheets that work fine. MathCad 7 is running under Win 95 on Virtual PC on a PowerMac G4. (David would like a Mac Version of 6.0). And then there is always the option of buying a new copy from Math Soft.
